Nella giornata di oggi, attraverso il Tweet allegato qui di seguito, Stephen Totilo ha confermato che la versione è stata realizzata da Epic games per testare l’Unreal Engine 3, il che è accaduto con gli stessi termini per quanto riguarda Unreal Tournament. Sembra quindi che il progetto non dovesse vedere la luce sin dalla creazione.
